104 councils have endorsed the Covenant of Mayors in Navarra in the last year

Since this initiative was launched one year ago within the framework of project LIFE NAdapta, 104 councils have signed the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, commiting to reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GGE) in at least a 40% by 2030 and increasing their resilience against climate change. These commitments contribute as well to the Climate Change Roadmap of Navarra-KLINa´s objectives. To achieve these targets, local entities will develop action local plans with measures to be implemented at the local level, for what technical support will be provided by LIFE NAdapta. Municipalities adhered so far add up to 76.7% of Navarra population.
