Actions in Water

To manage demand considering Climate Change-derived variations in hydric resources availability, and to implement an action plan to improve response against meteorological events exacerbated by Climate Change.

LIFE NAdapta will improve the adaptive water management in Navarra, reduce floods and droughts impacts, and prepare wastewater treatment plants against environmental emergencies.

Expected results

1

Equipment of wastewater treatment plants and networks to prevent impacts on receiving rivers during meteorological events aggravated/intensified by Climate Change.

2

Implementation of sustainable urban drainage systems.

3

Self-protection local plans and early warning systems against floods.

4

River space recovery projects to reduce flood´s impact.

5

Evaluation of hydric resources availability to adapt sectorial plans.
